MEFFA lab Oy offer a highly effective original method of soil geochemical survey based on Multi-Element Fine Fraction Analysis (MEFFA). MEFFA is a complex of original techniques based on analysing the fine soil fraction directly. Sample preparation for this analysis is simple, fast and environmentally friendly, using no reagents and requiring no special facilities. In field conditions soil samples can be reduced to 2-3 g using tools available in a supermarket. The method then uses a LA ICP-MS complex for a highly sensitive analysis and reliable results. Employing MEFFA allows us to be time efficient and provide a full geochemistry survey service at a highly competitive price.
